Total vs Realized P&L

Under the Reports section, there is a table that shows “Total P&L” and “Realized P&L”.

Suppose Total P&L shows 10k and Realized P&L shows 50k.

Does that mean:
A. I am net positive 60k, of which 50k has been realized; or
B. I am net positive 10k, of which 50k has been realized, which means my existing holdings should be showing negative 40k.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Let me start with definitions

Total P&L = Realized P&L (i.e. closed positions) + Unrealized P&L (i.e. current positions P&L) + Dividends of both Current Positions and Closed Positions

Realized P&L = Closed Positions P&L + Dividends of both Current Positions and Closed Positions

This is correct

Cheers,
Evan
