Broadcom (AVGO) dividends not flowing through in my portfolio?

Hi Evan,

In one of my positions, Broadcom (AVGO), I am showing NA/$0 for accumulated dividends even though I have held the position for awhile and the portfolio calculates a 4.19% yield on cost?

Thanks

Hi there,

You mean on the Portfolio page right? It is because if you sold any of it recently, the dividends would be recorded under Closed Positions.

Also, the Yield on Cost is based on the current Yield / Average cost of your AVGO purchases.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Cheers,
Evan

Thanks Evan. That is helpful. No, I did not sell any shares recently, but there was a 10:1 stock split that was implemented.

On that point, I looked at the closed positions and it still does not look correct. The $ amount is way too small. I suspect the amount being calculated is using the smaller split-adjusted historical dividend x the pre-split share count?

Hi there,

Yes, you are right. I have fixed it. Please verify. Thanks!

Evan

Thanks Evan. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t look like it is flowing through. Let me know if there’s a way to connect with you offline and share screenshots, as I would rather not post my portfolio details in this forum.

Hi there,

It should be. It is just being cached. There is a daily dividend cache for each user to speed up the website.

You can try again this page → Collected dividends - StocksCafe

Or next time use the “Clear Dividends Cache” on bottom right of the page.

Cheers,
Evan

Evan. Thanks for the quick response and fix. Yep, it looks like it’s flowing through now.

Much appreciated!
