Dividend & days held in accurate for long term positions that are traded

Hi,

Prior to april I have holdings of Keppel for > 1 year.
Liberation day, last month, bought about 10k shares at $6, sold mostly around $6.7, $6.8 this week.
So I should be expecting the closed acct to read sth like:
days: 40. dividend $380 (since i sell 2k each time) (Keppel declared a div of 0.19/share 20april)
instead it says: days held 250. dividend 1300+
So Im a little bit confused.
I assume when I buy & sell, the system will record sale for the most recent purchase for the position?
Judging by this, more of the dividend should be recorded under open positions instead.

This problem is more obvious for long term positions (>1year) that I have added to recently and traded.

Hi there,

When you buy multiple times, SC will generated the weighted average of the shares and also the weighted average of holding days.

e.g. if you buy 1 share on 1 Jan and buy 1 share on 2 Jan and say today is 3 Jan. The weighted average holding days is (2 days + 1 days) / 2 shares.

Cheers,
Evan
