[ Dividend Errors ] Extra records

Hi Evan,

Picked up on extra dividend records for specific Pay Dates . I have attached a snapshot showing the incorrect dividends. I have also added the stock exchange links (dates are the Pay Date)

Hi Evan,

I checked Hextar Retail, and the dividends that shouldn’t exist are still there.

Same goes to United Plantations…

Mind checking on your front end if you see the same thing as me?

Hi Evan,

Everything looks fine except Hextar Retail’s 26 Sep 2019 (exDate) record, which is now RM0.04 instead of RM0.03. The additional record is correctly removed.

Hi Evan,

There’s been regression, as the additional, incorrect record is now back.

The RM0.04 dividend is now RM0.03 (correct) though.

Weird. Let me try to fix it again. It could either be I made a mistake or somehow I have other auto jobs that is adding it back.

This is very weird. Okay. I tried another way to prevent it from happening. Hope it works this time.

Great, it is correct now.

However, I did not notice this earlier, but the later two dividends regressed, i.e. the extra, incorrect records are back. I’ve added a snapshot so we can track things.

Sorry, I just re-checked United Plantations, and the regression also hit that counter.

Can the fix applied to Hextar Retail be selectively applied to United Plantations too?

Yes, I think it is affected by the same issue.

It is only for 27 April 2020 right? I have fixed that.

Thanks - everything looks good now!

Does the “Edit Dividend” functionality on the UI still work? Or should I highlight future dividend errors by creating a bug ticket.
