Hi Evan is there a glitch here?
on the 5th Sept ( Fri ) my Overall P&L + Div was $353 004.05.
on the 8th Sept ( Mon) my overall Day Day Change was $6405.27 But the Over all P&L + Dividend became $370 789.46.
Shouldnt it only be $353 004.05 + $6405.27 = $ 359 409.32? Why did it go up by so much to $370 789.46 on the 8th Sept?

Yes. You are right.
This is because of FX rate changes.
In your case, it seems like you do not have investments in SGX (i.e. SGD) but you chose SGD as base currency.
If you change your base currency to HKD or USD, you will then see the expected results you mentioned for that currency. (Although the other not chosen currency will still have similar situation).
This is basically because Overall P&L is affected by FX. Example:
5 Sep) Overall P&L = SGD 100 with SGD to USD being 1:1
8 Sep) Overall P&L will become SGD 120 with SGD to USD being 1.2:1
So, maybe the better way to display this would be to display the FX gains/losses as another column besides Day Change? (Although I wonder if that would confuse other users)

Thanks for reply Evan. But i dont think its due to that. The difference cannot be so much. The overnight gain was only abt S$6.4k and that would bring the Overall PNL + Div on the 8th to be $359.4K ( S$353k + S$6.4K ). If like you say exchange rate was the reason the USD/SGD did not change so much overnight to amplify the 8th Sept figure to be $370.8k.
Furthermore today the figure has dropped to S$358k even though my overnight US market has seen a few thousand gains. As reflected on my account login ( this is before the computation from the gains of todays HK mkt is included).
I have attached a screenshot from the acct log in. Appreciate if you can look further into it. Cheers

Can we try one thing to start? Would you mind setting your base currency to USD for a few days? Then you can see how the USD portion should behave as you expected.
Also, I will work to add in another column to daily email “FX Gain/Loss” today or something so that it would be even clearer.
Of course, if there is something else at play, these changes would also help us.
