@evankoh When entering new transaction, noticed some counter (specifically Meituan “03690” and Ping An “02318”) is using 100 per lot size, in actual they are using 500 per lot size, I have to enter 5 lot in stockscafe to equal to 1 lot of sell call from broker, this may cause problem if the option is exercised, we will not be able to reconcile with out position. Any comment?
I see. Actually, the options feature is designed for US options hence all are assumed to be 100 per lot. It is not meant to be use for HKEX
You mean it will cause problem on your broker side or on StocksCafe?
If you meant on StocksCafe, you can simply adjust the shares count after exercise?
I see.Guess no choice but to do manual overwriting until you have a way to allocate different lot sizes for HKEX.
This is not easy since as far as I know the option lot size is different for different tickers in HKEX (based on some tiering that is based on price?). Might complicate things further if price is at the border and the lot size changes over time?
So, I think keeping it simple and assume lot size mentioned in StocksCafe always refer to 100 shares and adjust accordingly might be easier for everyone?
Not sure it is feasible, perhaps allow user to define or overwrite the default lot size of that particular ticket? That will off load the responsibility to the inputer.
I need to think harder about it. But these are my thoughts at this point.

It might work but can be troublesome for users.

Also, we might still have the weird situation of the lot size being different for the same ticker and StocksCafe would need to remember it to handle it properly for older transactions vs recent transactions.

So, might just override the transactions when exercising or assignment seems a cleaner and simpler approach and knowing all lot size in StocksCafe refer to 100 shares?
