If you go to the individual stock dividend summary page (e.g. D05), you can see “# Dividend / Year” column. It will tell you the dividend payout frequency.

Hi Evan, any reason why the frequency is based on individual amount split rather than total amount each pay date?
Those amount split are actually received in one lump sum, on one date.

For example, Suntec Reit’s total dividend on Nov 2017 is 0.02483, received one shot but considered as # 3
To learn that Suntec has # 12 of dividend /year (in 2017) seems a little unbelievable.

Now that you mention this, I agree that # of paydates sounds more reasonable.

Anyone else have opinions?

Yes, number of pay dates is better, IMO.

If the dividends are projected it looks like the projected dividends are not grouped as one pay date.

FCT has had three pay dates this year, shown correctly. There is one more projected pay date with three separate payments, this adds three to the number of dividends.

Usually, same ExDate would mean same PayDate. Also, I do not have for a small number of dividends.

Another place where the dividends are not consolidated into one message.

Today, 30th October, there are three messages for FIRST, two for MCT and three for Suntec.

Thanks for reporting. I added codes to merge them. But would only work for future. Already past ones would be troublesome to merge.
