Thanks, so it is a measure of a sudden in value of trades done - either due to volume increase or value increase, based on last 60 trading days. Is it in one direction, i.e. only positive increase?

It is not limited to positive increase only. It focuses on value which is equal to volume x price. Hence the close price can be lower and still make it to the trending stocks. -
