HSBC Holdings PLC (HK Reg) (HKEX:5) dividend

Hi,

I hold HSBC Holdings PLC (HK Reg) (HKEX:5) and i noticed that i have received the dividend in HKD using IBKR (Cash Dividend HKD 0.7832018 (Ordinary Dividend))

The amount is HKD 0.7832018 per share.

But in stocks cafe : the dividend is listed in USD.

could you please clarify this matter ?

Hi Hadi,

That is the data from upstream.

Also, I checked HSBC website, it seems like they also declare in USD by default → Dividend history and timetable | HSBC Holdings plc

You can use either use dividend override or settings to make all HKEX stocks to pay in HKD
