Hi Evan,

1. Do you have an option to import transactions directly from brokerages or from account statements? Directly from brokerage meaning to log in to the brokerage and sync with stocks cafe. As I have a few brokerages and thus find that uploading transactions one by one or using the excel spreadsheet quite troublesome.

2. Do you know what is the best way to find out the transaction date if it was done a few years ago? I am currently at Charles Schwab having had to move from TD Ameritrade so the dates and buy price are not accurate. I know the rough buy prices, but not the exact dates I bought it at. Does it matter if the buy dates are wrong?

We just had a call with Tiger Brokerage engineers today and is working to set up such auto sync in the near future (within the next 1-2 months)

Does it matter if the buy dates are wrong?

It will affect the annualized p&l slightly historically and also dividends collected in the past but it is not an issue going forward. One approach I recommend when user do not know the buy date would be to set them all to say 1st Jan 2025 so that you can have a fresh start for 2025.
