Issue with copying portfolio table headers from Portfolio Overview

Hi Evan,

I’ve noticed a change in the copy-paste behavior on the Portfolio Overview page (https://stocks.cafe/portfolio).

Previously, when I copied the portfolio table, the column titles (e.g., Symbol, Name, Price, etc.) were included in the copied data.

Now, it seems only the data rows are copied, without the headers.

The previous behavior was very convenient for pasting into spreadsheets. Would it be possible to restore it so that the column headers are included when copying the table?

Hi John,

I did not make any changes to https://stocks.cafe/portfolio recently as far as I can remember.

Also, the copy and paste is not a feature that I control. It is more likely the browser feature…

So, it might be hard to support you on this.

Hi John,

If you really cannot fix it, one option would be to create a new feature to export the portfolio/current table in csv (or tsv and I prefer tsv).

My sincerest apologies for the extremely late reply. I only just saw your message now.

Thank you so much for your kind offer to create a new export feature.

For some reason I can’t explain, the issue has resolved itself, and I’m now able to copy the column titles again.

Therefore, no action is needed at this time. If the problem happens again, I will be sure to let you know.
