Keppel Issues Keppel Reits as part of Dividend

anyone creating this event for the latest issue of Keppel Reit shares by Keppel Corp?

Can you tell me what happened? Preferably with a official link.

Thanks!

Hi @evankoh,
The distribution of KREIT Units pursuant to the Proposed Special Dividend will be effected on the basis of 1 KREIT Unit for every 9 share(s) in the Company (“Shares”) held by each Entitled Shareholder (as defined below) as at the record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the Shareholders for the Proposed Special Dividend, fractional entitlements to be disregarded (the “Record Date”).

General Announcement::Proposed Special Dividend to Be Paid in Cash and in Units of Keppel REIT

REPL::Dividend/ Distribution paid in Scrip/ Unit::Mandatory

Yes correct
the special dividend has already been issued, hence was wondering if there will be an event created for us to accept into our portfolio?

Thanks Evan

PS: great to finally hear you in person during the TFC podcast, amazing!!

Thanks!

So, basically, the cash dividend is paid, right?

And the event should only handle the issue of shares?

And it is 1 share of Keppel REIT (K71U) for every 9 shares of Keppel Ltd (BN4) with ExDate 27 April 2026 and PayDate / IssueDate 8th May 2026

Yes, please check if my understanding of the situation is correct then I will create the event. Thanks!

It was a impromptu anyhow talk cock interview. Moomoo gathered many people together and Reggie (TFC) wanted to leverage that and rushed to interview everyone he can get his hands on. haha.

Hi @evankoh,

When you create this event? I noticed the share price is indicate at 0 and there is no corresponding dividend create at Keppel Dividend Details (SGX:BN4) - StocksCafe.

If that is the case, the “share dividend” of Keppel will not be recorded.

Yes, I set it to be 0 because some users prefer this simple way.
Whenever I do the “proper” way (i.e. value it), many users are actually confused :frowning:

If you prefer it to be valued, then can do the following.

  1. Change the transaction to scrip transaction.
  2. Also update it to the value you wanted.
  3. Finally, add the dividend override.
