Portfolios created in StocksCafe

Greetings. It has been more than a year since I last posted. How time flies. My subscription is up for renewal this year. I will likely renew but thought I will share what are the different portfolios that I created in stockscafe throughout my subscription as a friend of stockscafe since 2017.

There are other portfolios created for the rest of my family members but the ones that I actively manage for myself are listed as follows:
i. Growth Portfolio
ii. Dividend Portfolio
iii. SRS Portfolio
iv. Bonds Portfolio
v. Itchy hands Trade Portfolio
I think the name of the portfolio is fairly self explanatory.

Growth portfolio
Although I have been a friend of stockscafe since 2017, I only dabbled in US growth equities from 2020 on. First wave of entry was in 2020 but it was a quick in and out of the market within the same year. At that time, I was just following the crowd and did not really have much financial knowledge of the companies that I was investing in. Bought into Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet and Alibaba. I made some money but did not have the conviction to hold during those volatile period. In and out within six months and missed out on the V-shaped recovery as money was pumped into the financial markets. The second wave of growth stock investment came in 2022 during the surge in global inflation. I was more prepared as I invested some time to educate myself in the different forms of equity investing. Overall XIRR since 2020 is 32.1%

Dividend Portfolio
Exited most of my US positions by end of 2024. With age, I pivoted towards income investing and grew my Dividend Portfolio. This is a portfolio that comprises mainly SG and HK stocks. A very small portion is allocated to Malaysia and stocks listed in Mainland China. What I shared in the community is the dividend portfolio. Overall XIRR since 2018 is 20.1%

SRS
I set aside some monies for my SRS account yearly, mainly to reduce my personal taxes. However cash in SRS account earn close to nothing which is why I deploy it into stocks and bonds. Similar to my dividend portfolio, this account is invested primarily in SG stocks and bonds. Mainly SG REITs, SG banks, transport stocks like SBS Transit, Comfort Delgro and SSB. I think this portfolio is fairly defensive and it has grown quite well. Overall XIRR since 2017 is 12.7%

Bond
This was setup to track SSB and T bills invested with cash. I currently only have one SSB. I may add more when interest rates increases. I believe interest rates will creep up quite rapidly with this war that was started by US/ Israel. This is pretty much a war chest portfolio and can be deployed for other investment. XIRR: 1.90%

Itchy Hand Portfolio
This was setup for options trading, stock trading and crypto trading. The allocation, if I do trade, is very small and there is currently nothing in here.

That is it. Happy Good Friday! Hope the war ends soon. No country will be spared, including SG, if this war drags on. The US political leadership is a kakistocracy. Opposite of meritocracy. Worst of the lot are leading their country and manipulating the markets for their own self interest. As much as I think there are many great companies to buy in US now with many that have been beaten down, I am of the view that there is more downside.
