Projected dividends list shows each lot instead of postion total

I would like to be able to work with dividend payments and yields. The current projected dividends list (is there a better source?) shows projected dividends by each lot purchased instead of the total for the stock.

Paid DBS (D05) 500 2026-05-11 2026-05-20 SGD 810
Paid DBS (D05) 1,000 2026-05-11 2026-05-20 SGD 1,620
Paid DBS (D05) 1,300 2026-05-11 2026-05-20 SGD 1,053
Paid DBS (D05) 1,200 2026-05-11 2026-05-20 SGD 972
Paid DBS (D05) 200 2026-05-11 2026-05-20 SGD 162
Could you add a toggle to show each counter total rather than lots?

Sorry, I am not sure I fully understand the request.

What is “total for the stock”? You mean total dividend for the stock?

yes. In the example data, a dividend payable by DBS is shown in multiple lines, apparently one for each lot purchased. That has zero information value. The only number that is interesting is the total dividend payable. I understand that some people want to see the dividend components (regular, special) which is fine, but not one line per lot purchased.

It seems to be in the Due and Paid sections, but not in Projected.

Hi @maplebob,

You can refer to https://stocks.cafe/stock/username/D05/dbs?exchange=XSES which will tabulate the “Dividend Collected” section which will indicate the total dividend payable and Div Yield.

That doesn’t really help. I want the list of all dividends paid, due, and projected with yield for all holdings…I was just using the DBS entries as an example of the inconsistency within the list.

I see. I think I understand now. Bascially, you want them collapsed into one line for the same stock and exdate. Okay. That make sense and should be straight forward. Let me see if I can find time this weekend. Thanks.

Thanks. Look forward to a clean list

Hi @evankoh,

You have something similar in https://stocks.cafe/portfolio/divpie?select_by=2 but the display in pie chart. If you convert to table format and add projected dividend information to it, then the request of @maplebob is met.

Currently, user has to click on the pie chart in order to display the dividend collected for the individual stock.

The system allows users to select “By Sector, By Stock, By Industry, By Month, By Exchange” but display in pie chart instead of table format. You can add nested filter “By Year”. This would allow user to choose more choice and display in table format. Pie chart is good for display when the no of ticker is limited. Once users hold a lot of different stocks or asset, then pie chart does not offer much value.

Hi @WEESTOCK

Thanks for the suggestion but this would actually be more complex to implement.

But ya, the pie chart is meant to give a simple overview of where the majority of dividends are coming from.

Cheers,
Evan

Hi @evankoh,

If you are able to let user to choose table form, it will be easy for user to manipulate the information.

Perhaps the use case would clarify the ask.

I want to have a list of actual dividends paid per counter rather than relying on yield (which may be backward or forward, based on cost or current).

This data is used to do analysis and income forecasting. I understand that it is looking backwards, but it is grounded in reality and I can adjust for major changes manually.
