Scrip dividend auto entry

2 questions here:

1. Is there a way to enable default scrip dividend?
2. Followed the tutorial and tried to add scrip dividend. Noticed thought that when I click create in the dividend field, I have to enter everything (number of stocks, price paid). Am I doing this wrong or is there a way for the scrip dividend to be automatically field in or just convert to scrip automatically?

I assume you are using this tutorial? => How to Handle Scrip Dividends - StocksCafe Academy

You are not doing it wrong. It is intentionally left blank because it is not clear to StocksCafe the amount of shares one will receive and the price paid for each. (As in we do not have such data from upstream.)
