Splitting portfolio

Hi Evan,

I have a portfolio of > 30 stocks. I am thinking of splitting them into 2 portfolios (eg. dividend stocks and growth stocks). Is it possible without me having to delete/sell from the main portfolio and buying in the new portfolio?

Hi Harry,

No, you totally do not need to do this delete/sell from the main portfolio. You can do the following:

  1. Create a new portfolio and name it Dividend Stocks
  2. Change the current portfolio name to Growth Stocks
  3. Use the last column on this page on desktop to move the transactions to the correct portfolio
