TDOC and LVGO merger

Hi Evan

Is it possible to help convert the LVGO holdings to TDOC since the merger has occurred and LVGO shares have been converted to TDOC already? On my portfolio screen, it shows that my LVGO holdings have gone to 0.

Thanks!

Hi,

For these events, you would have to do it manually (at least for now).

A easy way to do it would be using this -> https://stocks.cafe/personal/portfolio/transactions/tosplit?label_id=7850

Assuming it is a 1:1 swap, the settings should be the following:

Symbol (Old): USX:LVGO
Symbol (New): USX:TDOC
Stock Split Ratio (Old): 1
Stock Split Ratio (New): 1
Stock Split Date: When it happened

Cheers,
Evan

Thanks Evan. how do we account for the cash payout for each LVGO stock owned pre-merger?

i tried doing it and got this error

Ah… Sorry. You need to use USX. I updated the instructions.

Symbol (Old): USX:LVGO
Symbol (New): USX:TDOC
Stock Split Ratio (Old): 1
Stock Split Ratio (New): 1
Stock Split Date: When it happened

Thanks Evan. how do we account for the cash payout for each LVGO stock owned pre-merger?

I am still getting the same error

Hi,

I just tried on a test account and was able to perform the split. Can you give me more details? What inputs did you use? What Split Date did you choose?

Evan

Help me try this please! btw, the TDOC (Symbol new) doesnt autoload when i type it in. Symbol old works.

Symbol (Old): USX:LVGO
Symbol (New): USX:TDOC
Stock Split Ratio (Old): 1
Stock Split Ratio (New): 0.592
Stock Split Date: 30 OCT 2020

I see. I think I know why. I do not think floating numbers are supported.

So, for every 1 share in LVGO, it will give 0.592 shares of TDOC? I assume you got a floating number of TDOC shares now?

The exchange rounded it down to the nearest whole number

In this case, I suggest we do the following.

Symbol (Old): USX:LVGO
Symbol (New): USX:TDOC
Stock Split Ratio (Old): #shares you had on LVGO
Stock Split Ratio (New): #shares you received for TDOC
Stock Split Date: 30 OCT 2020

Ah… so sorry… Did not remember that I did that :frowning:

In this case, you can just set

Stock Split Ratio (Old): 164
Stock Split Ratio (New): 97
