Is it possible to add the income (premium from close positions) from Options in the monthly dividend income in the bar charts in the “Report” section under “Portfolio”?
It could be a section of the bar in a different colour (to indicate income from Options).

Hi Evan,

It’s great that you released the features to track options. I’ve been doing it via Excel. I just keyed in all my trx here. When I hit the strike price, I would automatically get assigned. Then I would do a sell call at higher striker price and earn premium and profit. Is there anyway that we can track the profit as well?

hi so glad we finally have option function.

can i check how do you guys input or track the option txn if you close the option eary ?

ie say you sell a put option, and then you close it early. how do you record this in the transaction ?

just record it as buy transaction.

Do you plan to have a bulk importer for options trades, similar to how its there for stocks? That would be a very useful feature IMO

@evankoh Cannot find corresponding option position to exercise or be assign. It’s under my transaction in Options but it shows error statement. Any idea what did I do wrong?

Hi there,

  1. Can you give more details about how you reach this error message? e.g. from which url and you click what?

  2. The easiest way is to use this → https://stocks.cafe/options/open_positions
    On each of the options, the rightmost column are two icons (one look like a book and one look like a two way street). The book icon is to close the options and the two way street is for exercise or be assign. Use them to see if you still have that issue.

The assignment icon (rightmost icon in the rightmost column) is also available there. You just have to clicked that and most fields will be prefilled for you and once you add that, a buy transaction will also be added for you.
