Updating dividend

Hi all, new to stockcafe.

I am curious what’s the right mechanism for us to make edits to dividend that’s announced by company in their earning announcement but not “formally announced”. e.g Dairyfarm announced a 7 cents dividend for year end payable in may subject to agm approval. ex date is sometime in march.

Do we go and edit the dividend projection/announced? or do we report it as a “bug”?

I just want a way to better track my projected dividend personally without lodging bugs after bugs lol.

If it is not formally announced, then it is preferred that you proposed it as a projected dividends (this would affected the projected dividend yield)

  1. On desktop
  2. Goto https://stocks.cafe/stock/dividend/D01/dfi+retail?type=xdetails&exchange=XSES
  3. Click on the bottom right button (Add new StocksCafe wide Dividends)
  4. Fill in the fields accordingly and ensure that you choose type = “Projected”.

Evan, regarding the DFI projected dividend amended.

I noticed the amendment was approved changing the DPU date and amount. In my own dividend projection screen, it is still showing the old date and the old amount too. Will this eventually get pushed to the upcoming dividend section too or is it some kind of “bug”

Which screen are you referring to? It could be due to caching. You can clear cache by clicking on the bottom right link “Clear Dividends Cache”.

Yup clearing cache solved it. It was the upcoming div screen.

There’s a duplicate now for DFI. I’ve made the appropriate edit to bring it in line with the projection.
