USX: AAPL Error in Dividend Payout Amount

Hi Evan,

I understand that Apple has paid out an ordinary cash dividend of $0.82/share on 13 Aug 2020, which is before Apple’s shares split.

However, the dividend payout amount shown in StocksCafe is on a post shares split basis ($0.205/share). Hence, this has created an error as the number of shares owned on 13 Aug 2020 is on a pre shares split basis.

Hi,

Thank you for reporting. I have changed for the dividends with 13 Aug paydate. But question is, is that the only one? I guess upstream given all dividends in post-split? Should I change for all?

Hi Evan,

Based on my AAPL dividends record, the previous payout on 14 May 2020 also had the same error.

I do not have any other records to check with. Hence, I am unable to comment on other stocks’ dividends payout.
